C22 Wed Race Night with an Old Flame

For LYRA, we are planning on featuring local craft beer from the Durham Region, so I took the salesman from Old Flame out on race night.

Melissa, Chris, and I (and Clint).

Light winds 4-6 knots from the east, so full racing main and #1 genoa.

Hosting the main at the dock
Heading out the channel to the race course
Clint took the tiller for a bit with an Old Flame:

Doing his best Captain Morgan pose

Clint worked the jib sheets for the race and did well.

Action shot from the first start
Still Time sailed great in the light airs.  We finished 3rd across the line and 2nd in corrected time by 30 seconds.  If only we had made the first windward mark and didn't have to put in two extra tacks!

We have two rules on Still Time:  don't fall overboard and don't spill any beer.
NO ONE FELL OVERBOARD.
Thanks for coming out Clint!
