CS34 Prinyer's Cove to Sandy Cove

Nothing better than bacon and eggs cooked at anchor!

Leaving Prinyer's Cove
Very nice anchorage.

Outside of the cove was a different story with 25+ knots of wind coming from the NW.  We motored for a while, but realized that the wind was a close reach, so I hoisted a double reef in the main and let out about 75% of the jib.  Got the boat going nicely between 5 and 6 knots with some heel in the puffs.

Passing the Glamoran Ferry and heading up to Desoronto, the wind was too close on the nose to sail.  I tried for a bit, but with winds were variable and shifting as much at 45 degrees. Past the narrows, the wind had swung to the west (on the nose), so we motored all the way to Sandy Cove.

Docking at Sandy Cove, we forgot to pull in the dinghy when backing up to anchor.  The 75ft of 1/4" poly rope had wound itself around the prop.  We had to cut it off.  I tried to dive and see if there was any left on the prop or prop shaft, but the water was very murky.

The bar was open on Off Duty.
