Got down to the club a little after lunch.
Hooked up on old VHF radio to the cable on the mast, and it did not work.
Had to re-terminate the connector at the top of the mast.
Added some new reflective tabs to the windex.
Gave the mast a quick cleaning with some Spray 9 and towel.
Carried the mast on my shoulders over to the dock beside the boat, and hooked up the forestay and backstay. Dockmate Simon and Amanda along with John Berry helped me put the mast up.
Took about 10 minutes.
Spent some time rough tuning the rig
- mounted adjustable backstay
- mounted traveler lines
- mounted boom
- boom vang
- mainsheet
- ran halyards back to cockpit
- install tubes around shrouds
Once more step closer!
The gelcoat is worn off.
