CS34 Canada Day

A bunch of us went for breakfast at the Buttermilk Café; ALWAYS GOOD!

Morning view from window
Went for a ride in the dingy with Bogart:

He liked it1
We spent the day touring the vendor booths some more.

Mark and Christine from the club dropped by for a drink

Their boys went for a dingy ride around the harbor

Many of our friends had to head back home as they had to work on Tuesday, so we had moved Still Time to a slip with power for a better view of the fireworks:

It doesn't make sense at Cobourg marina: on the wall is $1.30/ft, while a slip if $1.50/ft (a difference of $8).  Worth it to not have run the motor to charge the batteries.  A lot more private than being on the wall.

For lunch we got a blooming onion:

John was camping with his family in Prequ'elle and came by for a visit along with his wife, three kids, and his Mom/Dad.  Shortly after this daughter Melissa came by with a bunch of her friends.  Melissa and friend stayed for a while, but had to head home before dinner.

John's family stayed for a while, and went to meet up for dinner with Dennis and his family for dinner.  Dennis plays hockey with John and I.

Rita and I stayed on the boat, BBQed some dinner, and met up with them later.

We had a total of 12 people in the cockpit to what the fireworks.  We removed the bimini to get a better view.  Fireworks start at 10pm and lasted for half an hour.  AWESOME!  Just as the fireworks ended, it started to rain, so we put the bimini back up and everyone went home happy.
