CS34 Oswego to Henderson Harbor

After a shower in the club, breakfast on the boat, we left Oswego a little before 8am.
Glad to put Oswego behind us

The Winds were from the west 8-10 knots with 2-3 foot wave.  Hoisted a full main and flew the spinnaker most of the way up the coast.

Some really good sailing here:

Winds increased to 20 knots and swing to the south, so we doused the spinnaker and motor sailed with the main the rest of the way. The waves were increasing too

The granite cliffs the SE shore were rugged and impressive:

To get into Henderson Harbor you have to go way north because of some shoals.  At one point it looked like you could duck between the islands, but the charts said NO:

Coming around the corner, I was expect to sail into the harbour, but winds were gusting in the high 20s.  Down with the sails and we motored the rest of the way.

Arrived in Henderson Habor a little after 3pm

Henderson Harbor Yacht Club is a great spot.  Nice clubhouse, friendly clubhouse.

Definately recommend it!

The only problem we has was the power was messed up.  Think the hot and neutral wires were reversed because I kept popping the breaker trying to charge the batteries.
