Cold, rainy, and tons on wind.
Got to the boat after work and did some sanding on the keel joint, and with Peter's help we spackled some 3M watertight epoxy filler.
This filler is great stuff; you mix it one to one from two separate cans.
Takes 10 hours to dry to sand at 50 degrees.
Needs 48 hours to cure before hitting the water.
PERFECT
Dropped the pads one at at time (there are 8 of them) to clean and paint under them.

On Thursday after work (booked off early), I did some sanding::
Spent the rest of the afternoon in foul weather gear waxing the hull.
Mike Cullen came out with the replacement zincs:
The rain had let up after Michael left, so I painted the rest of the bottom and keel:
Peter gave me a hand, as I was spent from waxing the hull all afternoon.
Keel joint turned out well |
ACE is ready to hit the water!
