Spent the day working on the Catalina 22.
Power washed the bottom, sides, and topsides.
Gave the bottom a scrub with scotchbrite pad.
Compounded and waxed the sides.
Painted the bottom and rudder.
Came out pretty good:
Took all day before I opened a MacLays:
Things to do before launch on Friday:
- gas for motor
- fenders
- docklines
- replace rudder pintel bolts
The pintel bolts kept on coming loose and I have had to tighten them several times in the season.
The phillips heads are starting to strip.
Going to replace them with bolts and put some locktight on the threads so they don't back out.
The brightwork should be refinished.
The poptop needs some paint.
These tasks can be done after she is in the water.
