MacIntosh was rafted up to another boat on the service dock.
MacIntosh with her battle flags |
Durk has sewn together all the racing flags that he has won over the years and had hoisted it up a halyard as a battle flag.
The crew jumped on MacIntosh and took her to her mooring ball:
We got back and I had forgot my cell phone on the boat, so Rita and I took a tender back to get it.

Coming up to MacIntosh |
On the tender we met this young guy who was going to another boat: Ticonderoga, which I remembered from the 2013 race. Turns out he was the captain! New England in the summer, and St. Bart's in the Caribbean for the winter!

BYC arranged for a dinner reservation for all 8 of us at the Barnacle located about a half mile walk through Marblehead. Rita and I enjoyed eating at the Barnacle last fall.

On the way in Crocker Park, we could see MacIntosh in the mooring field:
We ate outside overlooking the harbour at low tide.
Afterwards, back under the BYC tent, there was an awesome house band.
LOTS of dancing, and Dark N Stormys.
Kevin/Jan drove us to our hotel close to midnight.
