CS34 CBYC to IYC

After a nice sleep, breakfast on the boat, and a shower we set off towards Toronto.

It was windy overnight, so lots of waves, but no wind to speak of, so we didn't bother with the sails.

We toured the north shore of Toronto Harbour and picked up Chris' daughter Kyla who came in from Hamilton by GO Train.  We stopped near the airport exclusion zone and watch a couple of Porter planes come in just above our mast! 

Then on into Island Yacht Club

Really like IYC.

In the clubhouse (awesome BTW), I spotted a half hull model of Still Time:

Also spotted a LYRA program from 1965 (I was one year old):

Whitby is hoping to host the LYRA regatta in 2016.

We took the IYC ferry into the city:

Then went for dinner at the Amsterdam Brewhouse:
