More than enough sail to get the boat moving at hull speed.
Had to feather the main in the puffs to keep the boat on its feet.
Out with two Sharks: Cheeky Monkey and Mickey.
Mickey and I met near the windward mark, and he got overlap, so I had to give him room to the mark. Didn't a puff come up and I started to round up into him, Dumped the main and the boat still went around in a 360 to avoid hitting him
Not enough canvas for the downwind reaching legs, so I finished 5 minutes behind the two Sharks.
THIRD place sounds better than LAST.
After the race I did a sail by of two students out on the sailing school Shark out with instructor John. They were moving along nicely with a reef in the main and a 110% jib.
