C22 Spring Singlehanded Race5

Last race of the Spring Singlehanded Series.  Still Time was second in the standings after 4 races.

Series leader Cam on Cheeky Monkey must have been really sick to not make it out.

We had four boats out with 3 Sharks including Terry on his recently purchase Shark called "Psyc 101"

Very light winds from the East, but with Mark 7 missing, we ran a 6 short.

Very glassy

Old baggy main and #1 genoa was enough to get around the course.

On the last upwind leg to the finish, I could see a wind line coming in from the right, so instead of going directly at the finish close hauled I cracked the sheets to a close reach to try and get to the wind.  I didn't make it to the wind, but I did get boat speed up to over 4 knots.

Finished 25 seconds behind Mickey.
