Winds were crazy 16-25 knots from the north west, so we rigged up a double reef in the main and flew the #3 jib. The boat was flying upwind in control!
Course was 2 long; first long of the season!
On the reaching legs were were a little under canvased, but we did shake the reefs out of the main for the long downwind leg from 2 to 6 where we gained on the Sharks. A little too much sail for the last short upwind leg to the finish, but no problem.
We came in fourth across the line and fourth in corrected time.
