CS34 2020 Cruise East Day 05 - Kingston

We were up at 7:15am and brought the dog ashore to do his business.

After breakfast, we left the Prinyer's ball at 8:30am, destination KINGSTON:

See you again Prinyer's Cove:

Winds were light 6-10 knots from the WNW, almost behind us, so full main and jib.

We were able to sail a lot of the way keeping our speed over 4 knots most of the way.
Winds were shifty and diminishing as we got near the end of Amherst Island, so we furled the jib and on with the motor.

Always nice following the shore and looking at the interesting houses.

Approaching Kingston Yacht Club:

We radioed ahead and got a slip reserved for two nights.

Pulled into the gas dock at around 1pm:

We got 70L of diesel and a pumpout.
Bill for this and extra night's stay was $163.

Still Time at the fuel dock

We got a slip near the end of the main finger dock with our transom facing the land.

We filled our water tanks, and had lunch.

At 3pm, the sky turned DARK:

MAN did it rain!

After the rain let up, we took an UBER into town with Shadow.
LOVE downtown Kingston.

We had dinner on the boat, while Shadow was waiting for Rita's sister Wendy to arrive:

Wendy and John have a condo on the water downtown Kingston, and walked over with their granddaughter Fenna.

We had a great time catching up.
