The winds were forecasted to be from the north and drop to 4-5 knots overnight.
Well the forecast was wrong; we did only have 5 knots of breeze, but it came in from the east at about 3am. Since the boat was anchored and tied to shore for a north wind, this east breeze made for some slapping on the hull. I got up and checked the boat, but didn't want to start the motor and move it. I think the only person who got a good night's sleep was 4 year old Emm. Must have been from all that swimming!
After breakfast, we hit the paddle boards again a little after 9am.
By 10am, it was time to hoist anchor and head back.
I had to get to Toronto to race on ZAMBONI, and Rita, Sarena, and Emm (and Shadow) went to visit Rita's sister's cottage north of Kingston.
We sailed with the jib in the light winds.
